The Position: National Account Manager
Rand McNally, the most trusted source for maps, directions, and travel content, continues to expand its consumer electronic product lines to include outdoor GPS products. We have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager to help us strategize and grow this business. The successful candidate brings strong, existing relationships with major sporting goods retailers, associations and buying groups (preferably GPS buyers). In addition, the candidate must have a proven track record of successful direct selling into the outdoor retail channels. This position, reporting to the Sr. VP, Retail Sales, must be a proven leader with a solid and deep understanding of the outdoor marketplace.
At least 7-10 years of outdoor channel sales experience with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Consumer electronics sales experience a plus!
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. PC Proficient: Excel, Word, Power Point, Windows applications. Experience in ACT!, Clientele or other customer management databases a must.
The position is virtual office and requires 40% travel.
