Growing Outdoor Gear Company seeks a talented, multi-functional product design and custom product sales manager, to work in our southern Arizona factory to design and develop new products for production under our own brand, and for OEM and Private label and military customers.
Most products will be sewn and/or radio-frequency welded products.
You will:
-Develop product ideas and pattern these items for production in our factory-Generate new ideas across multiple product categories for sales in multiple retail environments.
-Work with our OEM & Private Label customers, acting as sales contact, to develop private label and OEM products for production in our factory.
Ideal candidate will:
-Be ready to work in a Arizona factory environment to design and develop new products side by side with production
-Have excellent time management and communication skills
-Be capable of working without supervision
-Have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on design and development experience, with a demonstrated knowledge of patterning, and understanding of materials, design.
-Strong experience with design software and Ideally CAD software to bring these skills and capabilities to us.
-A creative flair, combined with good organization and execution skills to get projects completed.
-Capability of working remotely: you will be working in our factory, while reporting to management located in a different state
-Capable of speaking Spanish is a plus.
You will be expected to hit the ground running to develop products for the 2014 season with due dates of late May.
