The Position: Sales Director

Overview
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic sales plan for the North American marketplace. The plan will focus on multiple sales channels encompassing both long and short-term growth initiatives that focus on high growth and preservation of brand integrity.
Job Description
· Develop and implement the North American sales strategy that translates into measurable growth
· Recruit and manage a team of elite independent sales associates across the US and Canada in multiple channels of distribution
· Develop internal sales support team providing world-class support across all channels
· Direct the drivers of profitability and identify market segments to compete in to maximize our profits
· Understand market place; utilize assessment, knowledge and a brand management focus to adjust and drive business plans through accounts
· Work closely with all departments to develop genuine consumer focused strategies and execute these strategies through cross-functional teams
· Define and develop infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales department to optimize Hyperice’s brand and profitability
· Develop and track key measurable and success criteria for all sales programs and activities
· Develop and manage sales department budget
· Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
The Candidate
· A minimum of 5-years experience in building and managing sales teams in the multi–channel sports business
· Extensive experience in building relationships with national chains and buying groups
· A proven leader who will instill confidence and motivate the internal and external sales structure
· Highly developed verbal and written skills with an ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives
· Experience in strategic planning and execution and being held accountable for results in a multi-task environment
· Experience in multi-channel pricing strategies and national chain contract negotiation
