The Position: Sales Analyst
Cascade Designs, Inc. began over 40 years ago with the simple idea of providing a more comfortable night outdoors. Job summary
Work closely with VP of Sales to establish the Annual Sales Plan for Cascade Designs North American and European operations. Create and use analysis of sales demand and trends to provide monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts by item. Review, consolidate and interpret industry data for distribution to relevant departments and staff. Work with Sales Managers to build custom sales analysis reports for Key Accounts.
Essential job functions

Use preseason sales orders, forecasts, past history and data to build the Annual Sales Plan.

Provide by-item by-month forecasts to help establish and/or adjust revenue and production plans.

Create a process to analyze and identify sales demands and trends by item by market.

Create format to present the Annual Sales Plan or forecast updates in an easy to read presentation.

Provide the sales feedback and forecasts.

Audit and verify the Pre-plan forecast used to determine pricing.

Coordinate with key Operations staff to fine-tune communication, forecasting and planning processes.

Work closely with Operations and Finance to address their questions regarding the forecast.

Review and consolidate market data provided by Leisure Trends and other industry organizations that can be used by Company to set strategy and determine investments.

Provide scheduled updates and analysis of company sales.

Prepare Sales update for Board of Directors meetings.
Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or statistics preferred. A minimum 5 years of experience analyzing and forecasting sales trends and demand.

Must have strong written, verbal and mathematical skills.

Adept at working with and understanding numbers.

Ability to learn and master several different information and forecasting systems.

Strong negotiating & diplomacy skills – able to diffuse stressful situations. Able to work with many different personality types to achieve goals.

High level proficiency with Word, Excel, presentation software, and e-mail. Customer service/sales software system experience preferred.

Ability to multi-task, simultaneously maintaining focus on a high level of detail.

Capable of delivering high impact presentations in front of large groups.
