The Position: Product Engineer

You don’t have to know all these kayaking terms or be a pro kayaker to join the Confluence Watersports team. You DO need the drive and desire to lead rather than follow and a positive, can-do attitude.
As an employee of the world’s leading water sports company, you will help build on a tradition that began when a few buddies started building boats in a small shop with a dirt floor. From there, we’ve grown to include eight of the best known brands on the water.
To be a Confluence Watersports PRODUCT ENGINEER (and you need experience:
- design/modeling consumer products, preferably outdoor hard goods
- CAD software modeling, preferably SolidWorks
- working with product management, designers, engineers to determine form, style and function
- creating design or mechanical aspects of kayaks, including mechanisms, materials, construction, and manufacturing processes used to produce the product or parts
- creating models, prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of a design and prove the concept
- conducting performance testing through the DFMEA and test plan development
