PrimaLoft, Inc. based in Albany, NY, the world leader in high performance insulations and technical fabrics used in leading outdoor and fashion brands, home furnishings, work wear and military applications has an opening for a Marketing Communications Manager.
PrimaLoft® is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to develop, implement and evaluate integrated marketing communication strategies to support and grow the PrimaLoft® brand.
This position is responsible for managing all North American brand marketing initiatives including, public relations, web, social media, advertising, product launches, sponsorships/events, retail marketing, crisis communications and internal communications.
The ideal candidate will increase the visibility of the PrimaLoft brand; establish new marketing and communication initiatives with brand partners and retailers; manage content for PR and blog content; oversee events and sponsorships and implement web and digital media initiatives.
This position is a key member of a fast paced growing business headquartered in Albany, NY. The Marketing Communications Manager oversees a small team of internal marketing staff, and reports to the Sales and Marketing Director. This position does require travel, approximately 20%.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English or Marketing. Also required: 7-10 years of experience in corp. communications, public relations/ agency, marketing and/or marketing communications and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing a team. Knowledge of the outdoor industry is a plus. www.primaloft.com
