Overview of prAna:

Position Overview The Director of Stores leads and oversees prAna’s retail strategy and growth, the customer and brand experience, operational standards, employee performance, and is accountable for financial results for all retail stores.
Success indicators for this role include achieving or exceeding profitability goals for all retail stores; delivering incredible customer and brand experience to our consumers and the community; developing and retaining fully staffed teams of high performing retail employees embodying prAna values and brand; and establishing and ensuring prAna as an important and vibrant member of the local community.
The Director of Stores applies and balances both a strategic leadership orientation with hands-on, operational/tactical leadership to build the foundation and infrastructure for future growth.
Qualified candidates must have a proven track record in hands-on leadership of retail growth and success. In addition, candidates must possess traits that embody prAna as a brand, such as a disposition towards helping others (service-minded), an active lifestyle, mindfulness, and/or a love for the outdoors.

Education and Experience Requirements

7-10 years of retail experience with a minimum of 5 years managing multiple retail stores and managing remote employees -
Proven experience in developing and executing long term retail strategy -
Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field -
Experience in specialty retail and outdoor, active apparel highly preferred
