The Position: Sales Representative - NJ/NY

Kick Flips, Oregon Tucks, & Eddy Hops

 

 

You don’t have to know all these kayaking terms or be a pro kayaker to join the Confluence Watersports team.   You DO need the drive and desire to lead rather than follow and a positive, can-do attitude.

As an employee of the world’s leading water sports company, you will help build on a tradition that began when a few buddies started building boats in a small shop with a dirt floor. From there, we’ve grown to include eight of the best known brands on the water.

To be a Confluence Watersports SALES REPRESENTATIVE, you need:

• experience
  • consumer products sales
  • preferably in outdoor industry sales
  • real work experience and education equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years experience
  • developing and executing sales and consumer marketing strategies that drive sell-in to retailers and point of sale at retail
• organization skills
  • planning, expediting, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks and meeting corporate deadlines
• drive, desire and business acumen
  • to help customers grow their business
  • so you will be the very best in whatever you set out to achieve
  • to recognize business potential and create sustainable, profitable results

With that experience, you will be responsible for:

• Promoting and selling all CWS brands and product categories to specialty outdoor and sporting goods retail stores, livery operators and other related channels of distribution
• Sales analysis and account planning
• Monthly sales and product forecasting
• Creating business plans for achieving incremental account growth
• Canvassing for new business; territory growth and development
• Building lasting relationships with store owners, buyers, managers and selling associates
• Collaborating on advertising and point-of-sales opportunities
