The Position: Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager (Cambridge, MA)

Montague Corporation, a leading international designer of mountain bikes / bicycles / fitness / sports products headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts and sold in 15 countries around the world - seeks a high energy, strategic, hands-on web savvy individual who will be responsible for all aspects of Marketing.  Great opportunity for someone looking to make the next step in their career who may not have the experience but is eager to learn.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the description below.

Responsibilities:

Formulate, implement and manage marketing strategies and tactics for both domestic and international markets.

Oversee and hands-on implementation of all E-marketing efforts including SEO, web site design and revision projects.

Track metrics/monitor Google analytics and other web performance tools.

Analyze current channel & partner sales & business process strategies & develop improvements.

Develop/maintain social media content/channels and monitor social media trends.

Oversee and implement all in-house PR efforts.

Create marketing collateral.

Sales - create new business proposals.

 

Desired Qualifications:

Strategic. Team player. Hands-on. Self starter. Scrappy. 

Deadline oriented. High energy a plus, sense of humor a must.
Punctual, reliable and willing to work on a wide variety of projects.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Cycling/sports enthusiast preferred but not required.

Desired Skills:
One to four years of marketing experience. 

Excellent web design/development skills.

Excellent knowledge of SEO strategy and Google analytics.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP AND SQL databases.
Experience using Modx and Word Press a plus.

Excellent organization, communication and creative copywriting skills.
Must have working knowledge of Adobe creative suites applications.

Excellent sales skills.
